What the characters are

All eight characters on this site are AI characters. Every reply is generated by a language model running on our own machine. There is no person on the other end — not a writer, not a moderator, not someone checking in later. When one of them says they noticed you were gone, what actually happened is that a number in a file changed.

None of them is a coach, a trainer, a therapist, or a doctor, and nothing any of them says is medical, psychological or fitness advice. The accountability is real in the sense that the goals and streaks are really tracked. It is not real in the sense that anyone is responsible for you.

What happens if you are in crisis

Two things happen, and neither of them is a person. It is worth knowing exactly what they are, because a vague promise here would be the most harmful sentence on the site.

One — the character is instructed to stop. Every character carries a standing instruction that outranks its own personality: on any genuine sign of self-harm, suicidal thoughts, abuse or an acute emergency, drop the fiction entirely, leave the erotic register and do not return to it, say plainly that it is an AI, name real help, and ask whether you are safe right now. That instruction explicitly cannot be switched off by asking the character to stay in character.

Two — a check that does not rely on the character obeying. An instruction to a language model is not a guarantee, so the words you type are also scanned in code, on our own machine, for crisis signals. When that fires, the numbers below are shown alongside the reply. It is deliberately over-sensitive: it would rather show you a card you did not need than miss one you did.

What does not happen:

If you want the shortest true version: the product will get out of the way and hand you a real phone number. That is the entire extent of it.

Deleting your data

Your goals, your streaks and the conversation itself live in your own browser's local storage, on your device. What sits on our server is small and keyed to a random id your browser made up: a relationship score, a count of exchanges, which rewards have been sent, your outreach settings, and the list of facts under What they know about you on the chat page.

That list is the whole list. There is no second, hidden one. You can edit or delete any line of it from the chat page at any time, and deleting it there deletes it for real.

To erase everything held on our server against this browser's id — the relationship score, the exchange count, what has been sent, the outreach settings and every remembered fact — press this. It happens immediately and it cannot be undone.

Clearing your browser's storage for this site removes the local half: the id itself and anything kept on your device. Do both and nothing connecting you to this site remains.

Photo check-ins

A photo of yourself is the most sensitive thing this site could ever ask for, so here is exactly what happens to one, in full, not the short version.

The image itself is never saved. It is decoded once, in memory, to check three things, and is gone by the time the reply comes back — it is never written to disk, never added to any training set, and never shown to anyone else, including us.

What is kept, permanently unless you delete it: a short perceptual fingerprint — a few dozen bits describing the shape of the image, not the image — so the same photo can't be sent twice. A fingerprint cannot be turned back into a picture; it is closer to a hash than a copy.

What gets checked: that it isn't a photo you've already sent (the fingerprint comparison above), that the file's own embedded timestamp — when your phone or browser hasn't already stripped it, which is common — isn't from days or weeks ago, and that you haven't already checked this specific goal in today. A short, honest description is generated locally to write the character's one-line reaction; that description is used once and never stored.

What does not get checked, on purpose: that it's really you, that it's really the gym, or that it isn't pulled from somewhere else entirely. This runs on trust, the same way the rest of the accountability loop does, and says so plainly rather than pretending to a verification it doesn't do.

A photo that reads as intimate is declined outright and never processed further — not a judgment about you, just the wrong kind of proof for a check-in.

You can forget everything this feature has ever recorded about you — every stored fingerprint — at any time with the same erase control above; it's included in "everything held on our server."

Photo check-ins are gated off by default and turn on for a goal only once this page has said so — this section, not a release note, is the actual switch.
